Highlights of 2024
- On October 30, 2023, the Chamber of Deputies of Mexico, by decree, declared May 16 of each year “National Hereditary Angioedema Day”. For this reason, May 16, 2024, was officially celebrated in Mexico, for which the Symposium: “NATIONAL DAY OF AEH, AN ANTHROPOLOGICAL VISION” was held. - Creation of the AMAEH award in recognition of patients, caregivers, health sector personnel, and anyone who contributes through their courage, tenacity, and resilience in the face of AEH. The first three prizes were awarded on May 16, 2024.

- Accredit an AEH center in Mexico.
- Start with the national registry of patients.
- Have an AMAEH website.
